The American Massage Therapy Association has released an article about the use of massage therapy as an alternative to opioid use. It goes into detail about how massage therapy can be used as a pain management technique for those in need. It is an alternative to the use of pharmaceutical drugs or a way to reduce the use of prescription pain control.
